Rockdaughter Designs is the brain-child of Meredyth Fleisher, a native Athenian currently attending Candler School of Theology.  Despite all that grad school entails, she still finds time to crochet--in fact it is rare to find her without a hook in hand!  Meredyth specializes in whimsical accessories for all ages, and loves figuring out new patterns and creative designs - custom orders are her favorite!  Rockdaughter products can be found online and are also available at Frontier Gifts in Downtown Athens.

Tina grew up as a tie dye consumer and became hooked on making colorful designs with fiber-reactive dyes on anything cotton. What started out as a hobby soon grew into a small business when friends (and strangers) began asking her to dye their clothes. Tina enjoys bringing color into people's lives with beautiful, vibrant clothing and gifts and helping others express their creativity through tie-dye. In addition to making tie dye clothing, she teaches tie dye to students of all ages. Her Pink Heart shirt helps support breast cancer research.

Rachel Parnell is a lifelong crafter who tends to favor making things out of natural or recycled materials with an emphasis on fabrics and fibers. Over the years she has accumulated a plethora of items from which to make things, so often when she tires of making one thing or she has materials left over she'll use those leftovers to create an entirely different item when inspiration strikes. This time she's been making little blank notebooks with the materials she has collected. Meet Craftstravaganzaa Artist - Platypusfile

Janae Easton of Platypusfile is from Detroit, she began growing up in

the northeast where pines grow tall and New Jersey is more than just

Newark.  She ended up forming herself in the southeast, where kudzuu

takes over the mossy landscape.  She went to grad school at The Art

Institute of Chicago, to only return back to the southern comforts of

the strange.  She makes things with her hands every day, curious and

hungry to see what will come out next.  Her affinity is for textures

and patterns, sometimes trying to create connections that would never

be.
