Athens Indie Craftstravaganzaa Holiday Market is seeking volunteers to help our event run smoothly.
Thank you for your interest in helping us to put on this event. We’re asking
everyone who is interested to sign up for at least a two hour block of time, if
possible. All are welcome to help out.
Load In: Set up is from 8am until 10am, when the show starts. We will need
several people to greet our vendors and help them find their spaces if necessary.
We will send the vendors a map of the show layout beforehand; most will
already know where they belong. Some vendors might need help setting up
tents, or lugging their stuff to the lot.
Greeters: We need friendly, outgoing people to welcome our guests to the
show, answer questions, hand out programs, etc. Greeters will also be available
to give our vendors a break if they need it, check on them and make sure they
are doing ok or do not need anything. Just use your best judgement, some
people will not want/need help. The main thing is that they know we’re there to
provide assistance if needed.
Load Out: Volunteers help vendors break down their displays and load out.
Load Out volunteers also will stick around until everyone is gone, to look over the
lot and make sure everything is tidied up properly.
